"Paul Meloy is unique. No other writer plumbs the dream pool to such depths and sculpts addictive fiction from the awful things he finds there. He is the comedian that Hieronymous Bosch never was, the philosopher that Tommy Cooper failed to be. Make no mistake: Meloy is one of the most relevant writers in the world today. And these stories are pure gold. Treasure them" Charlie Williams
"Meloy's voice is startlingly original, his stories both shocking and beautiful, and this book is destined to become a classic" Tim Lebbon
"In the stories of Paul Meloy – where walk the living dead, genetically modified pandas, and the mad and terrible Nurse Melt, among others – raw, tell-it-like-it-is comedy brawls with trippy horror in a cage match for the human soul. Take a front row seat. Try not to get any blood on you" Joe Hill
"Crisp and inventive, fresh and distinctive. Really, an unmissable gig!" Graham Joyce

Reviews From Amazon:
"Islington Crocodiles is an incredible collection of captivatingly twisted stories full of esoteric allusions. It is not my preferred genre (although this has changed now), but despite this, I could not put the book down. Meloy's words transported me from the mundane and introduced me to parallel realities whilst simultaneously increasing my vocabulary; an altogether enthralling experience. TTA Press have an obligation to publish more copies. I cannot recommend this book highly enough."
MELOY IS TRIUMPHANT - "Paul Meloy has created a collection of stories like no other. Whether he's bringing Lenny Bruce back from the dead, taking you to a convincing future where snow doesn't happen any more, shooting pandas or introducing you to the 'autoscopes' you will be dazzled by his language, terrified by some of his characters, appalled by the depths of his imagination.
Truly one of the most extraordinary books you'll ever read - an absolute triumph. Miss out at your peril."

"DJ Monkey …soul-stirring, excitingly edgy music…just disturbing (read ‘mind-f**king’) enough to demand attention. There is a whole spice rack of auditory flavors here, served up like fractured poetry on a collection of intensely listenable Hallmark cards from Hell." Bill Margold, Cinema Seen, L.A. X..Press

"Some writers one admirers and others make one want to do as they do, or try. For me, Joe Pulver is of the latter type. His imagination is so vile so much of the time that it makes me giggle with amazement. And the prose so deadly visionary. I'm grateful that the pieces in this collection are those of a fellow horror writer who has raised the ante on what it means to be such a creature." - Thomas Ligotti
