Not only the successful DJ, Ilya Soloviev is with no doubt one of the biggest Russian trance exports as a producer. His productions have been heavily supported by likes of Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, John O’Callaghan, Aly&Fila, Ernesto vs. Bastian, Ronski Speed and Mike Koglin, which makes quite wide and impressive range, one might claim. Ilya Soloviev’s label Timeline Music has in less than a year became a synonym for quality forward thinking trance, and that’s also a merit many wants to achieve. To finalize the picture, add the two popular global radio shows Ilya hosts ..hours.FM and Trance.FM, so you will get some impression of this young electronic dance music wizard.
Nethertheless, all mentioned above would be just a common hype without revealing the very secret of evergrowing popularity of Ilya Soloviev among the clubbers around the globe. All these merits are just a consequences of the musical magic this guy deliver to the audiences. Take smooth and long basslines of progressive, add some electrifying trance melodies, full of euphoria and passion, combine that with the chunky madness of tech. When shake it all in one superb yet careful selection melting pot alongside with flowless mixing technique and energetic stage charisma, crown it with a solid pinch of constant flirt with the dancefloor… The result is called the DJ set by Ilya Soloviev!
