To start, I’d like to confirm the urban legend that I record all music after taking LSD and then inhaling helium.
I have a mixture of song styles I like to use. As of now, I’ve been writing a lot of acoustic based stuff with a little bit of a serious side to them and then others with themes that are put it in with rather unserious lyrics. And then before that I was writing simple short catchy little pop punk tunes about all sorts of subjects ranging from Oxymorons to Freshman Relationships
For the more "into it" musicians I have very low budget gear. Which, you will find pictures of in the "picture section" of my page.
As of now, I use
A Fender Frontman 20 Watt Solid State Amp and a Boss CH1 Chorus and Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Wah Pedal.
I have an Eleca guitar and an Epiphone Les Paul. Eleca is basically a no name brand that have some business in America. It’s basically a Fender Stratocaster copy. It’s 3 tone sunburst. I enjoy, it’s definently the best "first guitar" a person could ask for. It also has a Rosewood neck and is a single coil, and strap locks. The Epiphone is a standard LP seeing as how I can’t afford the Gibson. I like it, it has humbuckers, so no more buzz unlike the Eleca! I still love the Eleca though and am in no way retiring it.
A regular computer mic and eventually, I’ll start using my actual microphone Wireless thing.
I use Cool Edit Pro for the actual recording. It’s not bad but I’ve heard there is better. Yet, I still haven’t come across any.
So, I’m surprised some of my recordings come out the way they do.
