Istalindar is a word in the language of the Elves from J.R.R Tolkien that means Spell Singers.
Danza de los Duendes ( dance of the pixies, or brownies ), is the first song composed by Fabiola Vargas while thinking about Arthur Rackham..s illustrations. The second song is Embrujado ( Bewitched ), just a sketch for now while we record a Demo. It needs to be refined, we play it differently now.
The third Song is a cover from Final Fantasy IX, a lovely RPG videogame and this is a tribute to the first tune I ever wanted to play with my flute for real. It is a beautiful song, no harm intended, just a tribute, recorded at a friend..s home, it..s got many mistakes, i..m aware of this aswell as Mayu Song, from the TV Series Captain Harlock. Simple home recorded songs, but we will record our songs properly very soon.
And the fifth song is just a flute track, but we already play it with guitar and percussion, you can see the clip above, yes there..s some mistakes, it happens hehe. Hopefully we will record it soon and upload it here in a couple of weeks. There are two more original songs coming and at least three covers of traditional Irish, Scottish and Sephardic tunes.
I must thank Kaat Geevers who has been a faery for me and a great friend, her own project Lavender inspired me to take the first step and finally arrange my first song and to Peregrino Gris for being the first to play Celtic Music here in Costa Rica and for their unconditional support.
