i love songs of praise, love songs, songs of freedom and rebelution, REDEMPTION SONGS! roots reggae is my heart but i enjoy all types, I enjoy dub anytime but particularly when i'm working on a project. it puts me in a creative state of mind without disrupting my thought process.
i had the uplifting blessing of sitting in on a dubplate session and interview with Alton Ellis at his hotel while he was staying in hollywood, and a performance the same night. it was such a treasured experience, he is a true gentleman. i got an autographed 7" of willow tree with my name on it!!! :P Alton is a legend and inspiration, and puts his heart into every performance. i am so glad that his family is carrying on the tradition of life music!

try not to watch too much. television lies to our children. it pollutes, drains, brainwashes, and deceives. no wonder they call it a boob tube. occasionally i can be caught at my sisters or a friend's house watching a random episode of survivor man, going tribal, l.a. or miami ink, iron chef, project runway, lost, dexter, heroes, and i could easily sit and watch animal planet, the history or discovery channel for like six hours straight, but i refrain. i love naruto, boondocks, afro samurai, and battle angel alita.
Books
my multitude of cookbooks, sewing, draping, sketching, anatomy, macrame, jewelry, polymer clay projects, and fashion books, the dictionary! i could dismantle a good magazine or old book for a project anyday.
