Have you ever had a revelation? I did. Right on stage with my last band. Yeah while playing a show I became totally disinterested in the performance and began a coversation with myself. I thought: "God this place is really cool, but we are playing way too loud for a room this size... You know what would work well in here? An acoustic performer." Not surprisingly that became our final show.
After a brief musical moratorium I hesitantly picked up an acoustic guitar and with the fear of becoming the archetypal singer-songwriter I sought out and found what became my partner. Kendall the Korg Univox drum machine. Together we wrote all kinds of songs and found our style. We began playing without boundries and making all kinds of new friends. We were very happy.
But without warning I found myself in the company of humans again, in the form of Diane Lena and Ryan Patrick Murphy. Now I have the freedom to play in either equally awesome context.
My songs can be very sweet and serious or downright infantile. Sometimes they meet somewhere in the middle. We just finished a debut record. You can get right now. Please do.
