ISYLUM is a combination of writing and recording talent that is complimented by their one of a kind stage presence. Though, at times, this innovative duo is often overlooked. They are working persistently to become recognized for being completely original and exceptional lyricists.
Depicting their lives and the world surrounding them, ISYLUM has stuck with their guns and have never back peddled from their creative and unusual style. With little to hide; the two have created a style so raw, that even the most gifted biter could never duplicate. ISYLUM have broken all the barriers in Hip Hop blending all genres of music into their signature sound.
Making sure their writing and recording talent is never tarnished, they have learned many other individual skills to broaden their creative senses including: engineering, mixing, production, web design, graphic art, and promotion; to be as independent and self sufficient as possible.
With that said, ISYLUM has become even more independent with the creation of their record label Belligerent Entertainment (2004). They have wowed crowds all throughout the East coast standing by their firm belief that hard work pays off. It’s not just the individual effort of ISYLUM that gets them recognition, but the dedication of each artist on Belligerent that gets the label noticed as a whole.
