About me:
Good day, I am Isy. I do comedy and writing and I play Dobby in Peep Show. I am a happy person and I am a creative person and I am an untidy person and I am an optimistic person. Yeahhh. I am currently working on my new show for this year's Edinburgh Festival. It's called The Suttie Show (well I had to do it one day) and it's a mixture of stand-up, songs and characters in some warped talent show about dreams. Here are the previews! Come if you can! Details to follow on some or message me. July 6th - The Cavendish Arms, 128 Hartington Rd, Stockwell SW8 2HJ July 7th - Albany, Great Portland Street Tube 8pm/ July 9th - Looking Glass in Leicester/ July 11th - Alpine Club, The Magdala, South End Green, Hampstead, NW3 2SB starts 8pm/ July 15th - Camden Roundhouse/ July 16th - Bath Theatre Royal Ustinov Studio, 8pm/ July 21st - Hackney Empire Studio/ July 25th - Croydon Warehouse July 26th - Camden Roundhouse You can book tickets for my Edinburgh show at http://www.pleasance.co.uk/edinburgh/ I am on at 4pm in Beside in the Pleasance Courtyard, every day of the Festival except the 12th. My regular gigs before Edinburgh are as follows: JUNE: Mon 23rd - 8.30pm Lowdown at the Albany, opposite Great Portland St tube, London/Fri 27th - Glastonbury Festival Cabaret Tent 7pm/Sun 29th - Laughing Cows, Frog and Bucket, Manchester. JULY: Sat 5th - Newbery Comedy Festival/Thur 17th - Sun 20th - Latitude Festival
Who I'd like to meet:
People who are happy, creative, untidy and optimistic. Not people who are mean, tidy, bored and narrow-minded. Especially not tidy. People who don't try to get out of buying rounds. People who would have jumped off a bridge for a pound and broke their ankle when they were 13 like I did. People who would go in a derelict building. Larry David.

'Joan's music exudes a warmth, humility and truth that is rare to find in singer-songwriters these days'.

Hmmm...I must say as great a show as Peep Show is, its so frustrating at times!!GRRR!! Everytime Mark and Dobby are in a room together Im almost yelling at the tv "ask her out you fool! What in the name of greek buggery are you waiting for!!?"...But after 5 seasons Ive gathered the writers cant actually let the characters be happy or anything cos...y'know it would ruin it!BUT! I do think think that was the last in the series last night wasnt it? NOOO!! I do hope you'll be in the next series also as you are a delight to watch as always! And umm...yeah. I dont really know what to write on a celebritie's comment box really....umm, do you like garlic bread? Is that too frivilous a question? I better go before I make a fool of myself...

I once saw a crossover episode of Diagnosis Murder that had Matlock in it.

Matlock the man, not Matlock the town.

Was Matlock from Matlock? Probably not.

Still, the episode was very good.

May 19 2008 9:58 AM

Hi there!
Yep, I'm another pilgrim from the fans of Peep Show, although I'm assuming you play the guitar too (unless you just enjoy holding them in pictures :]), is there anyway to listen to some of your music?

Oh, and you listen to some good music! With the definite exception of Scissor Sisters, there's just something about Jake Shears in spandex that scares me a little.

I'd like to add my agreement with the other comments about Dobby.
The actress playing her must be super talented, a true genius of our time!
