My name is Lukáš Nedvídek aka dj Scratchy. I started to play the turntables in the year of 2000, when I pass djing training LIVC in Prague, led by skilled dj Ghonzales. In that time my nick was dj Peclo and I was playing drum n bass, jungle in the all its form also including liquid funk. I began to arrange drum n bass action together with my friend dj Lukaadem (now Local Heroes) in our native club Peklo in Studénka. We found together Drumncode crew and organized action just like Drumncode Session, Young and Fresh, Rewind or alternative festival Magic Castle at the Hukvaldy Castle. As time goes on I really prefer lighter drum n bass vinyls mainly tracks of Omni Trio and LTJ Bukem, which was the consequence of creation of my other dj..s nick dj Euthanasia. As Euthanasia I play in chill-out sessions. As times goes on I was just added broken beatz, down temto and also breakbeat to ambient drum n bass, which I prefer more than nowadays drum n bass, which is not that what it used to be. In the year of 2006 I definitely dicided only for breakbeat and again I changed my nick name as dj Scratchy – at that time also my girlfriend was interested in breaks and she started to play the turntables as dj Itchy. After it we started up to join playing as Itchy & Scratchy and we began to arrange ours break..s parties – Break Revolution, which we dedicate to this date.
>Jmenuji se Lukáš Nedvídek aka dj Scratchy a s hraním jsem začal v roce 2000, kdy jsem absolvoval v Praze školu dj-ingu LIVC pod vedením zkušeného dj Ghonzálese. V té době jsem měl nick dj Peclo a hrál jsem drumnbass a jungle ve všech jeho podobách včetně liquid funku. Začal jsem pořádat drumnbassové akce spolu se svým kámošem dj Lukaadem (dnes Local Heroes) v domovském klubu Peklo ve Studénce. Založili jsme spolu Drumncode crew, pod níž jsme organizovali akce typu Drumncode Session, Young and Fresh, Rewind, nebo alternativní festival Magic Castle na hradě Hukvaldech. Postupem času se mi začali čím dál tím více líbit i vyklidněné drumnbassové desky, hlavně od Omni Tria a LTJ Bukema, což měli za následek vznik mého dalšího djského nicku a to Euthanasia – pod nímž hraju hlavně v chill outech a poslechových akcích. K ambient drumnbassu jsem postupně přidal broken beatz, down tempo a breakbeat, který se mi začal čím dál tím více líbit něž dnešní drumnbass, který už není to co býval…. V roce 2006 jsem se definitivně rozhodl hrát pouze breakbeat a znovu jsem změnil svůj nick na dj Scratchy – v té době se taky má přítelkyně začala aktivně zajímat o breaky a začala míchat pod nickem djka Itchy. V zápětí jsme rozjeli společné hraní jako Itchy & Scratchy a začali jsme pořádat svoje breakové akce – Break Revolution, kterým se věnujeme dodnes.
