"....he kicked off our little session with, bless his heart, "wichita lineman", and it seems appropriate in retrospect because I'll swear I heard shades of Jimmy Webb runing through his songs all night.
The first of 'em he played (right after "lineman") remained the one that hit me the hardest; don't guess you'd ever expect to hear a country song about Traci Lords that would hit you like a dart to the heart, but there it was.
And, for all his guitar-playin' facilities that brought him up here in the first place, boy, can that fella sing! Suffice to say, for any of y'all who shared my suspicion, based on his many posts here back in the old days...that this guy was boiling with creativity that probably overflowed into his musical forays, the answer is a resounding YEE HAW.
Quite frankly, what I heard from this guy saturday night damn near makes me wanna start a record label just to get his stuff out."

Man, you are the coolest!! That is a hit song that will be one for the ages. It is an instant classic for me, and I'm sure many, many, more motorcyclist. Sheri said she was loving your song, and telling me how cool my friends are. Don't I know it!
Hey man, great to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. Been real busy here on my end. Getting ready to head out of town in the morning. Give me a shout sometime.
I got to ride the Night Rod and the Triumph Rocket III in Germany, so of course that means I won't be in town for the Indy MotoGP. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Here's my best Valentino impression:
"I said like a FUCK!"
There'll be more races, and I'll always try to be there. Peace, my Itchy Brother...
Hey YOU! Just wanted to stop by and say a big thank you for all your help for our show last week at the Time Warp. Fabulous place, and awesome people. Must come back. Thanks for the late night food run too. Hope we'll see you soon! :)
