Formed in the summer of 2006, Thomas Eilers, Chris Walter, and Randy Wilde began doing what they love the most- playing music. Cramped in Walter’s garage, the three band members spent days honing their musical skills to become who they are today- Item 96.
Influenced by bands like blink-182 and Sum 41, these boys are faced with the same challenges as all other hopeful bands: fitting music with lyrics, finding support from family and friends, and of course the annoying neighbors who give the band a cut-off time from playing at 11:00PM.
When asked why he spends the majority of his days playing music, Wilde simply answers, “Because it’s fun.” They all agree that writing music, getting lost in the meshed sounds of their guitars and drums, is their greatest source of therapy. Together, the boys create heartfelt lyrics about the raw moments in life that any boy, girl, and adult can relate to.

chris i got first place at the 6th anual taz tournoment for 171s. dillon kelser and i went in to finnals and i beat him pin first round. thank you for helping me wrestle last year you where a big help, you should come to practice one of these days.i miss you alot
