The Ithaca Reggae All Stars come together every Tuesday at Castaways to play an all-encompassing blend of reggae music ranging from deep, soulful roots to hardcore fire lickin’ dancehall to dub, lovers rock, rub-a-dub, hip hop, and anything and everything in between. Instrumentally, the band performs a combination of original songs and various Jamaican rhythms, as well as improvised tunes created "on the fly". Vocally, the All stars are known for soundclashing all types of reggae music, whether its original songs, freestyle, or, occasionally, a cover, so no matter what mood you’re in, you can be sure the vibe is right.
