There are many influences. No sense wasting time listing here. Between us we like all kinds of metal, rock, blues, punk, old school, and whatever else makes our clocks tick. As we grow together as a band who knows what sounds we will forge! That's how IT IS WRITTEN! Remember this: Car crashes are cool, but you can't tap your feet to them!

Ken and Darl met while jamming out with other local musicians. They realized the cover song bar scene was not what they wanted to pursue, so they stayed in touch and practiced when they could. Darl had a lay up of a few months after a medical procedure. Once through that, the two of them cranked it up again and decided to start looking for other musicians to start a band with. Bob came to shred at "The Bomb Shelter" a few times and we felt that the chemistry was pretty good. Paul joined in on the fun in September of 2008, and we dug his shreds. Currently, we are writing new songs and laying down a foundation for what we hope is an awesome musical experience. We are working to be able to get to play for as many as we can, somewhere on Earth. It Is Written maintains this Myspace page on our own and will do the best we can to keep it working for the fans.

Hell yeah guys can't wait to hear your recording!! Yeah we are at the Croc Rock in allentown this weekend, and going back there to open for the Misfits on Oct. 29th.
