About Its all about the Benjamins

In May of 2007, Ben Martsolf, Josh Martsolf and Alex Johnson moved from Kansas, Colorado, and Missouri to St. Louis with one dream: music. Ben has been writing and performing music that captivated audiences since he was fifteen. His brother Josh and longtime friend Alex had just finished an American Odyssey through the Midwest and south as they looked for the perfect place in which to begin their music career. St. Louis was that place and it has shown itself to be a great choice: It has given It’s All About the Benjamins the chance to play with The Academy Is, Josephine Collective, Evan Taubenfeld (formerly of Avril Lavine), and Steve Ewing. It’s All About the Benjamins will be releasing their self-engineered, professionally mastered debut LP this summer. Keep an eye out for their infectiously poppy single, “Love Is Blind”. Pop Rock is back!
