About me:
..
J! It's not just the tenth letter of the alphabet. It's a way of life. It's a standard for living.
J! stands out. J! gets noticed. J! glows. Well, actually, J! sparkles. Maybe you could say that J! even glitters. But not the "Mariah Carey no one cares" type of glitter. It has to be that chrome 20-inch rim type of glitter. It stands out, but it's still not obnoxious and gaudy. It makes you stand there, look for a few seconds, and go... "nice."
J! means business. There's no time for nonsense. There's no tolerance for lathargicness. Most importantly, there's no room for excuses. Goals are important. Not soccer goals, people. But life's goals. Take things seriously. Get things done.
J! means pleasure... wait... didn't J! just mean business a second ago? Yes, it did. But you still have to enjoy life, don't you? It's about taking vacations, going to those fancy schmanzy restaurants that cost a shitload of money, and having a countless number of foot massages. Wait... on second thought, J! passes on the foot massages. But enjoy life every once in a while. Business or pleasure, life shouldn't be wasted.
J! is creativity. J! is about new ways of thinking. It's about creating a new word every once in a while, like "lathargicness." Or putting a sticker on a backboard when you dunk. Or just singing something that makes absolutely no sense, as long as you're careful where you do that. It's all about constant thinking.
J! is comforting. Very comforting. Like the passenger seat in a Cadillac. Or you grandfather's lap when you were four years old. It's all about appreciating and valuing friendships and making sure they stay strong.
But don't take my word for it. Be who you want to be. Just don't take my damn letter.
Who I'd like to meet:
I love to meet positive people. People who don't bring a lot of drama. People who aspire to do more. People who are creative. People who like different things than I do. People who network. People who are business oriented. People who love to talk (because I tend to listen). People who are open-minded. And people who don't think that they are any of the above.
