The band “It’s Not Over” was founded in October of 2006 by guitarist/vocalist, Mike Giordano, and drummer, Matt Cabello in Staten Island, New York. Later, adding Gabe Ramirez on bass and Josh Cronno on Guitar. The Pop/Punk/Alternative Rock group sometimes compared to the bands Green Day Saves the day, All American Rejects, and My Chemical Romance, quickly gained a reputation among audiences for their energetic performances and melodically catchy song writing.
In late 2007, they sent their song “Need Any Help” to the U.C.L.A College radio station. After playing it for a few weeks, the song became a favorite on the Sunday night show. As a result, the band was interviewed over the phone from New York.
Their songs have also been played on U.C.L.A. College Radio and WSIA College Radio. The band has received awards from Garageband.com: Garageband.com- Awards: Need Any Help (Track of the day, Best melody in Pop/Punk) and Wanna Be with You Girl (Track of the day, Best mood, Most Original).
After writing new material in 2008 It’s Not Over jumped back into the music scene in early 2009 and entered their new single “Kiss Kiss (Break up)” in the original music contest on makeastar. After numerous rounds of voting It’s Not Over made it to the top eight out of hundreds of bands and appeared on Fuse TV numerous times.
It's Not Over have released their self entitled E.P in October 2009. The E.P, produced by (former producer and guitarist of The Veronica's) Rob Guariglia and Kenneth Harter, contain the songs Kiss Kiss (Break up), Better Off, Taking me over, and Catastrophe. It's Not Over won the 3rd annual battle of the bands at the College of Staten Island in October of 2009
