.:Biography:.
Big Keno a Filipino 24 year old go getta... A man that was doubted all his life from young to wise... first started writin’ poems at the age of 7 and have been writin’ ever since. Started to flow with music about his 6th year of school and didn’t really take it seriously till his freshman year... Reason being is cause katz doubted him... katz would say that "Filipinos don't rap!" "Filipinos don't have rhythm!" and stuff like "Cmon seriously? You doin' this whole hip hop thing is not goin' to take you no where!" But that juss added fuel to the fire... But he would think to himself though it hurt he would think and say that this is what he loves to do... this is what gets him through his dayz... this is what he believes that he was put on this earth to do... this is what is goin’ to help his family live a better life... And this is his passion. All he would have to do is grab a pen and his composition book and he would be in his zone...
So to all those who doubted him and hated on him he went out to prove these katz wrong… So to prove these katz wrong... he went to his local community center one day after school... and was invited into a program where he could go into a studio and see the real thing and see what it was really about also accompanied by eight other katz.... After a few weeks eight katz came down to five then to four... The four Including Big Keno... Formed the group Aluzjun... Performed at some major events like The EMP Sound Off... The Festival Of Sundiata... and the Apollo and that was just to name a few... During the whole process of doing shows n all, Aluzjun came out with there first debut Album "Aluzjun Voicez Of The Streetz". They stuck together for a good 4 yearz doing other performances and workin’ on their 2nd album… During that whole process big keno left the group aluzjun and went to venture out on his own journey. Now he’s out grindin making connections and relationships with Dj’s, Promoters, & Other North West Artist… to help them promote any shows, club nightz, or any positive event that takes place in the north west… He promotes via myspace, emails, word of mouth, flyring up the town, dropping flyers at major clothing, shoe stores, hair/barber shops, and record stores. Also he would be passing out flyers on club let outs, and posting flyers on windshields of car. The mans on the grind and about his business.
