My name is Joseph John Baldwin IV, but everyone calls me Jay. A few people have grown fond of my nick-name/last-name combination, and have settled on "Jay Baldwin." :)

I live in Pataskala, OH, near Ohio's capital, Columbus. I work at World Harvest Church, where I am the senior developer in the Internet division. God has blessed me mightily. I love my job. I love my Pastor. And above all, I love my God. I *know* He hears me... *always*. :D

"Passionate" is a word typically used to describe me, especially concerning Jesus, love, friendship, and issues of morality.

I love God, and the things of God... they are -- and I mean this -- they REALLY are the main priority in my life. I grew up loving Him. God promised me one time, "I will make you the man that the boy you once were dreamed he would one day be." That boy wanted to be true in every way -- in whom there was nothing false. He wanted to be righteous and holy and loving and tender and caring... he wanted to be God's friend... and a friend to all who were in need... all who were broken... all who needed a love they could touch. He wanted to be humble, and gentle... patient and understanding. He wanted to be like Jesus. That's the man I want to be. That's the man God said He'd make me. I'm involved in the ministry of the gospel of Christ -- what I believe to be life's greatest purpose or calling. I love my God. Nothing is too big for God to handle. He's a BIG freaking God... your greatest fears don't scare Him, your darkest sin doesn't phase him, and your deepest hurt doesn't make Him wonder if He can heal you. Your greatest desire can't exhaust His power, and your wildest dreams can't bankrupt His heaven. His name is Jesus. Trust Him. He's worth it. :D

My greatest personal dream is my family... to love them with all my heart... to be a man they deeply love and respect... to be a loving and caring husband to a God-fearing woman, and an attentive, loving father to children who are taught to love their Savior. I want to lead my family to my Jesus.

When I fall in love, I love thoroughly. I hold back no good thing. To steal a good line from a friend, love makes me weak, and I couldn't live without it. I believe the truest form of love is a gift of yourself -- a promise -- from one person to another, and the lifestyle by which that promise is lived out. Love is sacrifice. God is love. So to truly love, you *must* know both God, and how to sacrifice.

I'm in a wonderful relationship with a girl I've loved for a very long time, Christine Johnson. :) She's aight! *wink* :)

I LOVE to play pool. I also like tennis and racquetball. My favorite TV shows are House M.D., The Mentalist, and Heroes.

I like to read also, but I REALLY have to be interested in what I'm reading for it to be thoroughly enjoyable. Otherwise, I get bored. My favorite books to date are the Bible (particularly Psalms), the Harry Potter series, and the Left Behind Series.
