I heard someone say once that you don't choose music...music chooses you. That confused me at first, but the more I thought about it...the more I believed it. I don't think I had any say. Music basically put me in a headlock at a very early age and said, "you're coming with me." Fast forward...I am now a career musician...I absolutely love music...and I can't really imagine my life without it. I don't want to use this space to talk about career achievements...and I'm proud to say there have been a few. I'll just say that music has taken me places I never dreamed I would go. It has introduced me to people I never dreamed I would meet. It's made me feel emotions I didn't even know I possessed. Music is like breathing for me...and I feel blessed that I can play it and actually make a living. This, I consider my greatest achievement. I've been fortunate enough to release 4 original albums of music. Arsen (1989), Divine Static (1999), Let's Hear It For The Fools (2002), and Red (2007)...and play bass and/or sing on countless others. In my mind, I'm already workin' on album number 5.
When I'm not recording, gigging, doing laundry, or chillin'...I'll play with anybody...anytime...anywhere.
