We Dance To Remember

Drummer Ivan Dominguez died on tour in Belgium on August 3rd, 2002.

Ivan played his final show with The Last Dance on July 31st, 2002 in Leipzig, Germany. Funeral services were held Friday August 16th at Rose Hills Mortuary, California.

This was an extremely difficult time for us all. The outpouring of support from his friends and fans was and still is overwhelming. Ivan was an amazing drummer and the best kind of friend and bandmate we could have ever hoped for. He will be missed every day by all of us. As TLD continues to make music, it will always be with slightly heavier heart. His inspiration to our music, as well as everything that we do behind the scenes, will always be present. You will be missed, my friend.

Ivan's cousin recently wrote that he does indeed "believe in angels, and Ivan is the greatest of them all." We could not agree more.

A beautiful compliment to the things I have experienced, learned and grown to understand. Thank you...I found him in a moment of dispair so deep that I know without a doubt that it was not random or chance but a gift and I will cherish him in honor of all you taught me.
Beladona	Aug 27 2008 7:45 PM well im finally living my dreams. i once again found my soul mate, in the beautiful city of spokane. i hope u got to play here before cause it is an amazing town. i love it here. not only that but i also enrolled in the vet program at a school out here. im so excited. i been in spokane less then 2 weeks and its all coming together finally. my dream is to get a job with the humane society. anyway Ivan i do hope your proud of me.

I think of you every day and hope the boy and I make you proud. My journey seems so much longer without you in it...but to know that you are there at the end of it makes it a little less frightening. I am feeding the baby antelope and deer! It is hard work, but I love it. Also my dear...your giraffe passed away. I was so sad and I will always remember where I was when it happened. Miss you every day and love you. Jacob is almost 5 now. Where has the time gone without you???
Beladona	May 9 2008 10:37 PM So I finally did it. I moved out of cali. I am grateful to you for bringing me there and it had to be the best 8 years ever but the time came for me to move on. I'll never forget you and all that you did for me. with out you I never would have met some really amazing people, who will forever be my friends. thanks for everything you did for me. I miss you Ivan and one day hopefully we will see each ohter again in Heaven

I moved in with a good friend of mine and met her best friend and it turns out you and her , anita, grew up together. your brother and her husband were best friends, but she last saw you in 1988. small world. funny you were lucky ivan even in high school.
