Though she's no stranger to the traditional classical music world, IVA has broken down barriers between pop and opera with her angelic, otherworldly vocals and larger-than-life sound.
Billboard magazine has already declared her an artist to watch, and Sweden's leading music journalist wanted the first chance to declare her an up-and-coming star.

This past year IVA released her second album, "Ivolution", while preparing for a major operatic debut at the Royal Opera, Stockholm, where she worked directly with composer Sven-David Sandström to create the role of Tamar in "Batseba", which opened to rave reviews. While at the opera she finished recording her album with platinum songwriting and production team Kbros, a journey that began two years earlier after a chance meeting with the brothers Martin and Andreas. The twelve song album earned IVA four stars in Cafe magazine and heralds from Expressen and Billboard, and the album continues to earn strong reviews as it's been discovered on Myspace. "Dreams" and "Come As You Are" have made their way onto radio stations across Sweden and found IVA distribution through Universal.
An American currently living in Sweden, IVA started performing at the age of 9. She trained at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard School in New York and got her first break singing on the Conan O'Brien show. She has also done her fair share of acting, both in TV commercials for Bon Aqua and IKEA, and on stage at New York's Public Theatre in "Paris Commune".
IVA is a believer and an earth lover. She is an "organic" artist, buying only sustainable products and a member of the Nordic Eco Label club.
