About me: We are the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW). IVAW is a national organization of veterans and active-duty members who have served since September 11th 2001. We are calling for an end to violence and an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. We are working to secure benefits for veterans and offer legal and mental health counseling. We demand that reparations be paid to the Iraqi people for our influence in their country and the damage that we have done to their lives.
Who I'd like to meet: Other Veterans and Active duty military members, artist, musicians, and people who want to change the world.

Of course I told lies to get us into Iraq. Any school child knows that. Don’t know why Scott McClellan didn’t. If we didn’t bend a lot of truth, we never would have done what we done over there. This whole McClellan double-cross signifys just why I’m backing John McCain so hard. He sat right here in the White House and told me there would be no investigating into how we thought up Iraq. There will be no need to look backwords with John. He will protect my Presidential legacy.

I and John McCain adamantly oppose this new GI bill floating around Congress, the one that gives people who have served only three years in the military full educational benefits. John and I believe it is too costly and will only encourage troops to get out of the service after only one or two combat tours. Get out after being trained to be the world’s best warriors. This country can’t wage my war on terrorism and can’t preserve my Presidential legacy with incentives to back slide like this bill allows.

We don’t create homeless veterans; they do it to themselves. My Veterans Administration supports veterans who support themselves, not them that whine about what they been put through and not getting enough education benefits. Look at John McCain and myself, we are both Vietnam era and we didn’t need no education benefits. We both picked ourselves up by the boots. We are both shinning beacons of what these homeless vets can be, beacons standing on a high hill of compassionate conservatism.

Just wanted to say once again, I was happy to see you guys at May Day! Your speech given at the march was one of the ones that got me the most motivated!
question: does this bomb strike you as violating the Geneva convention? The page is from a marine corps issued advanced explosives and demolitions manual I must have forgotten to turn in after being discharged… http://manicroger. com/napalm. jpg FYI thickened gasoline is a description on napalm.
I’m your biggest war wound Dad. I’m covered in your battle scars. I’m stuck in the middle of a war that ended six years before I was even conceived. That war is the only thing I’m ever going to carry inside me, carry on my back.
So don’t you dare tell me to shut up about it. I need to believe this neverending fucking fight is worth it.
Do you understand me, Dad? We’re on the same side. Give me something. I’m your ally. -Kate Mulvany, "The Seed"
