Learn more about some of our local members here. Also, feel free to check out the IVAW national website. IVAW is comprised of those who are serving or have served in the U.S. military since 9/11/01 and agree with IVAW's mission statement. There are members of IVAW in all 50 states, Canada, military bases in Europe and Iraq. IVAW-LA is one of several chapters in the U.S. and its membership is composed of southern california residents, some of whom are currently serving in or are scheduled to be deployed to Iraq. IVAW's mission statement: 1. Full, immediate withdrawal of the U.S. military from Iraq. 2. Full support and benefits for returning veterans. 3. Reconstruction of Iraq for the sake of the Iraqi people. Our mission statement is based on three principles: 1. The military's goals in Iraq are unobtainable. 2. The occupation of Iraq is illegal. 3. The occupation of Iraq is immoral.

Who I'd like to meet:

Veterans and servicemembers interested in joining and anyone who agrees with our mission statement, would like to know more about us, and most of all those who would like to help us END THE OCCUPATION.
