About me: IUSB IVFF MOVES TO DOWNTOWN SOUTH BEND'S CENTURY CENTURY - NEW DATES, DEADLINES AND NAME
We'll be starting off 2009 with a bang by doing a major upgrade to our
festival. We are currently working with the City of South Bend to move
our festival to the main convention center downtown, The Century
Center, and we'll sponsored by the city and the Mid America Filmmakers
non-for-profit film group in town. With this move will come a major
increase in capacity, marketing and the number of films we can screen.
To this end, we have changed our deadlines to January 20 & 30, 2009
and all checks should be made out to MID AMERICA FILMMAKERS since
we've be moving from our IU South Bend venue. The updated entry form
can be downloaded from our website at www.ivff.net.
Many more details are being worked out and we'll keep everyone posted.
Another change will be a new name for the festival, likely the South
Bend Film Festival or something along those lines.
We look forward to seeing all your films and hope you'll take part in
our festival this year which is going to be more exciting than ever!

It’s freaky Friday night and some local teenagers looking for a new place to party have discovered an old abandoned chemical refinery on the outskirts of Gary, Indiana on the shores of Lake Michigan. Making themselves very at-home in one of the large warehouses, the wild adolescents get high, enjoying the euphoric release as they relish their new-found privacy and freedom in the secluded setting. That is until they realize their friends are disappearing one by one.
A shadowy form has been slinking around the hallways of the cavernous place unnoticed by everyone. Separated from her friends the pretty and clever Jade is frightened and lost in the endless corridors. Due to unusual circumstances Dr. Steve Morningstar and Detective Lori Greene find themselves in the same location. What they find inside could validate everything Morningstar has worked so hard to prove and helps Det. Greene find a much needed crucial moment of self-knowing. Jade discovers a handy hidden talent which could save her own life as well as the lives of her friends. Who will make it out alive? Who will last until daylight?
