Selecta’s Beatnok and J Boog Castro linked up as some youths in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. It wasn’t until shortly after they rocked San Francisco New Years Eve of 2005 - 2006’ that J Boog joined Vibration to link the east coast with the vibe…
Mr. Lucky linked with Vibration just after the summer of 2006, after already being well acquainted with Beatnok through mutual brethren inna dance (Nowtime, Irie 1).
Hopper has been in it from day one; as a San Francisco legend and the I-man liaison, the Hop sets the vibe for the proper atmos every time… “Birds of a feather will flock together.”
Mission:
The main aim is to bridge gaps, cultures and people inna dance to enjoy and appreciate one another on an equal level in a nice up atmosphere…
Our DJ’s weapons of choice are primarily Roots, Dub & Dancehall Reggae; but we never forget about Old School, True School, Underground, Conscious and Slappin’ Hip Hop; Latin, Funk, Parlay muzik, Go – Go, Breaks, mash ups of all of the above and anything else we feel like dropping on ya…
