About
We moved into the old industrial unit in Ivy Arch Road on the 14th January 2005 once council approval had been granted for change of use. Vast outlay has created an ideal environment for rehearsals for entertainers.
The business idea is to provide high quality rehearsal rooms for music, theatrics and dancing in Worthing and the surrounding areas. Being ourselves involved with entertaining for many years we realised the need for practice space, which has sadly been lacking in Worthing for many years with people travelling to Brighton and the far reaches of Sussex to get this facility.

Room One
5m x 7m
The first of the practice rooms is situated on the ground floor. Fully kitted out with a quality backline, Phonic PA and plenty of space; this room is perfect for musicians to hone their skills.

The second of the practice rooms is situated on the first floor. Fully kitted out with a quality backline, phonic PA. Slightly smaller then the first room, but still a comfortable size to practice in.

Room Three – Stage Room
8m x 9m
The third room is the largest room in the studio. There is plenty of space for large bands to practice and bring in their own gear or rigs. Fully kitted out with a superior backline and Carlsbro PA and monitoring system, this room is ideal for bands that like to cause a racket! There is also access to the car park from the back of this room should you choose to bring your own equipment.
Another feature of this room is the seated area in front of the stage, so a few friends and family members can watch. Also in this room we have our upright acoustic piano.

Our deluxe fourth room is bound to please those with a more refined taste. Not only is it kitted out with more classy amplification and drums, its’ decor is superior and is fully air-conditioned.

New Bands and Artists:
Get 50 percent discount for your first rehearsal at Ivy Arch Studios.
Get yourselves filmed! All of our rooms have the facility for us to record your session on film. Not only can you hear the music you practice or create, but you can see how you played that riff or how naff your posing is! We use Sony cameras and mics that do not compromise on picture or sound quality. We burn the film to a DVD for you, and you pick it up the following day or we mail it to you.
Print out lyrics/tab/music from the internet when you need. Just ask.
There are no charges for extra equipment you may need. Nor are there any hidden charges. If you need extra equipment, just ask.
Tea and coffee is free if you’re prepared to make your own.
We also offer in-room sound recording with James or Chris for an extra £10 per hour. This is recorded as you play and you get a CD at the end of your session – perfect for when you want quick and easy demos or rehearsal disks.
Accessories:
Ear plugs, straps, drumsticks, batteries, guitar and bass strings, etc. Chilled soft drinks and water, sweets, crisps and fruit are also available.
Other Accessories for hire:
Leads, Noise Gate pedal, Keyboard volume pedal, etc.
Parking, space, etc
We also have two large lounge areas. One in the main lobby for Rooms 1 and 3, and one for the use of Room 2 upstairs.
Parking:
4 spaces at the rear for access to the stage room. 2 spaces at the front and other roadside parking.

Ivy Arch Studios work together with other companies and teachers to bring you quality tuition and services – some at reduced rates:
Worthing Rock Academy – their classes for schools and colleges are soon to be taking place at our studios.
Northbrook College – reduced rates for students booking through the college. The Music Dept hold extra classes at Ivy Arch Studios.
Ford Lane Recording Studios – book through us and get reduced rates for recording at the south coast’s premier studio.
Lucinda Bristow – apart from her distinctive vocal teaching at local schools and colleges, Lu tutors singing at our studios.
Chris Harvey Music – undoubtedly one of the best keyboardists in the area. He teaches piano and synthesizers, music tech, Logic, Cubase, programming and production.
Steve Gladman – excellent guitar tutor.
Chris Britt – noted bass tutor.

Opening Times/Contact Details
We are open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm, if you contact us in advance we can arrange to open slightly earlier for your band or stay open up till 11pm.

We are located near Broadwater Bridge just off King Edward Avenue and just north of the railway line. Central Worthing train station is nearby as are local bus routes and amenities. We also provide parking for up to 6 vehicles
