All things macabre, sex, fairytales, loud noises, distorted guitar, pounding drums, emotion, nature, theatre, books, diseases and opening our eyes of a morning.
Bands we've had the privilege of making noise on the same stage with: Trencher, Queen Adreena, Geisha, Rolo Tomassi, Nitkowski, A Silent Front.......

HERE's WHAT THE PRESS HAD TO SAY ABOUT US:"Since there inception they've earned themselves a reputation of live performances that are as visually striking to behold, as the music is to be heard...."METAL HAMMER
"..Unsettling and arresting" THE FLY
"Packed with exhilarating dynamics to shock the casual listener senseless,
the music from this quartet oozes both style and substance. Once you've
entered the world of Ivy's itch you won't want to leave - it's an electrifying
and terrifying emotional rollercoasterr but boy, does the ride reap it's
rewards."
BLACK VELVET MAGAZINE
"Ivy's itch really are one of those wonderful bands that sond quite unlike
anything else you've ever heard and that coupled with an uncomfortably raw
and unhinged live show which has won them friends, foes and looks of bemusement wherever they go, could well prove a terrifying prospect for those who like their music safe and predictable".
BUBBLEGUM SLUT ZINE
"Ivy’s Itch have tapped into an eerie new vein of music which, as far as we’re aware, they occupy alone.
YOU’LL LIKE THIS IF YOU LIKE: Sludge, doom, grunge, deliberately skipping appointments with the psychiatrist."
REDHOTVELVET help, I need to learn to enlarge flyers.
Another tiny one for your viewing pleasure (aint it a beaut?!)

Hello peeps, just a quick heads up about a free show going on this Friday 26th June at the Unicorn in Camden (227 Camden Road, NW1 9AA). Here’s the info:
The monthly Naked Claw night returns to the Camden Unicorn on Friday 26th June bringing you a merry circus of barely audible mush in the form of...
WARTGOREHELLSNICKER – (onstage 8pm) twisted and groovy fun rock music somewhere in the vein of the blue album by QOTSA but with added frickin TUBA !!! thats right, TUBA through a bass amp. Good times.
THE LAZE – (onstage 9pm) coming down all the way from LIVERPOOL to play this show, The Naked Claw welcomes THE LAZE and their moog heavy cosmic jams. In their own words " .. We have been complimented in the past by being compared to artists like:::: KING CRIMSON, GOBLIN, GENTLE GIANT, FRANK ZAPPA, ELP, JOHN CARPENTER, ELO, RETURN TO FOREVER, UNIVERS ZERO, TOTO, NEUROSIS, GUAPO, CHROME HOOF etc" .
Sick of wasting 200 quid at Glastonbury to wade about in muck on bad drugs watching Sting with a bunch of hippies?
There is an alternative.
And it's better than suicide.
You would be silly not to take it.
It is Club Hell.
It's The Party At The End Of The Line.
HEAT FROM A DEADSTAR
"Spooky guitars morph into the sound of crying monsters, and twisty time signatures barrage their way through brick walls...brings to mind My Bloody Valentine or the ethereality of early Mogwai. Currently holed up in Steve Albini’s studio in Chicago, HFADS are potentially stratospheric."
God Is In The TV
"Deadstar is a repository for all the emotions we don't know how to put into words... "

THE SUICIDAL BIRDS
PONY PACK
Two explosive Dutch girl bands. They are not like The Spice Girls. They are very angry about something. They could have easily taken out Courtney Love back in the day.
If you missed early Hole/The Breeders/Veruca Salt/the Riot Grrrl thing the first time 'round, see this. Or find 'em in Holland; last London show.
MARCIA MELLO A busking girl and her guitar playing ragtime pre-war blues from Provincetown, Massachusetts. Covers of people like Memphis Minnie, Blind Blake and Blind Lemon Jefferson...
"One of the best guitarists I've ever heard" - Nick Marsh (Urban Voodoo Machine/Flesh For Lulu)
DJ: KAMIKAZE U.T. (Corn Rocket Club: Badass Punk Rock n'Roll)
+ BEN HELL (Go-Go Mariachi Surf Garage Nonsense)..
guys sorry i didn't get in touch for the palehorse show, but i've had to move it to a thursday, and therefore had to cut 1 band off... but gonna do much more at the grosvenor, and at the nest too, so i'll be in touch very very soon, as you guys rule!!!!
I'm going to try to get some kind of date back home in High Wycombe this summer and would like to offer you one if I get it (which I probably will). I'm going for July or August, are you up for it? It will hopefully be with Pump Shark, Xenon Codex, another out of towner I reckon, and maybe a fifth too.
Also, I thought you might be hungry so here is some spam:
