IWA Mid-South was founded in 1996 by pro wrestler Ian Rotten. Throughout the years, IWA has innovated the professional wrestling industry, from the King Of The Death Matches tournaments to the always highly-acclaimed Ted Petty Invitational, IWA has raised the bar for independent professional wrestling.
IWA Mid-South has had a slew of independent wrestlers and "superstars" known throughout the world including the late Eddie Guerrero, the late Chris Candido, the late "Sensational" Sherri Martel, the late Ted "Rocco Rock" Petty, Rey Mysterio Jr., AJ Styles, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Jamie Noble, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Matt Sydal, Harley Race, Trevor Murdoch, Shark Boy, The Honky Tonk Man, Demolition Ax, Dory Funk Jr., "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Ken Kennedy, Abyss, 2 Cold Scorpio, The Sandman, Sabu and so many more appear on our more than 500 shows.

Kahagas World Tour continues - From Scott Hall to Roderick Strong
The International Superstar Kahagas travels around the world to challenge Superstars, local legends and the future of the sport. From Florida to the Dominican Republic, Kahagas has left a vivid image of his talent. Trips to Panama, Puerto Rico and Mexico in battles with Sabu, Scott Hall Panama Jack Daniels, Mark Sterling, Joe Bravo, and Bloody Harket Dirge has heated up the summer of 2009.
Kahagas is on tap to challenge for the Donovan Ruddick’s High Voltage Championship, later in the month he will face former WWE Superstar Scottie 2 Hottie, and will be in one of the biggest tournaments this Sept when he takes on Roderick Strong at the 2009 Ted Petty Invitational tournament on September 4-5 in Joliet Illinois.
