About me: The main purpose of the zine is to showcase the strange and twisted little drawings and ideas that are usually confined (perhaps for good reason) to peoples sketchbooks. The zine does not name the progenators of its contents on the pages within its body but rather it names contributors at the end, so as to give it more of a communal spirit.
"I want to be a circle" is run on a non-profit basis. All money collect through sales and/or donations will be invested back into the zine and therefore benefit those who enjoy contributing and/or perusing it.
"I want to be a circle" is an "I Dress Myself" publication.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with ideas or doodles that they'd like to contribute.
Or anyone that's interested in seeing "I Want to be a Circle."
If you want to contribute in anyway please send in your ideas/opinions/artworks etc to pete@idressmyself.co.uk
I've just made some limited edition "i want to be a circle" t-shirts with
one of the great drawings by Scott Seacrow, a regular contributer to the zine.
Limited edition of 50 T-shirts, this design is available in both Lady's skinnyfit and Men's T-shirts. They're screen printed by hand onto T-shirts made from 100% combed cotton (so super soft) at 240 gsm (so extra thick). They're available in Men's S-XL or Lady's S-XL.
These T-shirts are priced at £16 (inc. P&P) and can be purchased here using a debit/credit card or paypal.
I hope all is good with you guys. Just to let you know I have found out that The film Control we feature in is being released can Cannes film festival. This is a massive surprise to me as I came to the conclusion that the film was SHIT, Oh well some people really don't have any taste or class for that matter.
We have entered into the Don't Panic "innovation" poster competition. We need all the help we can get to make sure our poster is shown in the Manchester exhibition. Here is a little version:
