I.Witness is a five-piece Russian band, formed in the fall of 2008 in Barnaul, Altai Territory. Playing a blend of emotionally changed hardcore and modern hardcore punk. First demo was released in June, 2009 and got contradictory responses. We try to play hardcore as we love and see it despite the absence of scene in our places and the worst conditions you can ever imagine to play independent music here. Also we are sick and tired of such kind of hardcore that we call "instructive". We are sure that no one needs to thrust his opinion to anyone, and teach how to live. Firstly hardcore is a way of self-expression, not thrusting of any ideas. Of course nowadays it is difficult to create something revolutionary new, but innovating is not only way in this situation. But you can keep on singing about things you care and worry, avoiding cliche and different 100-times used appeals. Bring back punk in hardcore

But your tunes are so rad. I've always dug that sort of melodic hardcore. It's such a bummer that you guys don't have a hc scene in your area, but who knows, maybe you might start something!
