Tom is classically trained and a key addition to the new lineup.
Dave Belk, Drums, Percussion. Dave has played with well known bands in the central Wisconsin area including Jupiter Moon. Dave's aggressive style is the heartbeat of the band. His energetic and enthusiastic drumming style adds a new energy to the overall sound of the new IX LIVES band.
IX LIVES has been entertaining fans in the Midwest since their inception in 2003. IX LIVES brand of vocal, guitar and keyboard based rock from the 70s through today have made the band one of the most sought after acts in Wisconsin, northern Illinois and eastern Iowa.
The band has become a regular at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin having played on the big stage for the last 3 years opening up for bands such as Eddie Money, Peter Frampton, the Bangles, and U2-Zoo. The band is also one of the most requested acts at Chicago's Navy Pier including a featured 4th of July performance at that venue in 2007. 2008 has included many festival appearances and an acclaimed 3 day series of shows at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI.
A IX LIVES show is very vocally oriented and the band covers some of the more vocally challenging material that other bands often shy away from. The band is currently working on some changes in personnel, all in an effort to bring a bigger better show to the 2010 festival season.
