The ramp up kicks off Nov. 14th with the release of the first single, “Call Me Papa.” On Nov. 14th, “Call Me Papa” will roll out to expose a more flirtatious side with-in this album. An outlook in IzRael's eyes dealing with the new found success he has stumbled apond.
X-Rated showcases an incredible musical journey by IzRael Salinas, as well as his growth as a songwriter and vocalist. The first single, “Call Me Papa,” is an eye opener driven by awareness of the spotlight and he replies to all the ladies across the world who show love to his movement. The entire CD is a veritable smorgasbord of pop and hip hop gems. “Rather B Wit You” is a re make of the 70's classic "I'd rather be with you" by Bootsy Collins . This is a personal experience for me. Relationships are very challenging as a music artist. Trust seems to disappear and girls I have been involved with feel over shadowed by the spot light which comes with the territory. “Fly Bye” which is also a song on how you can get caught up with your busy day to day living routines and in return end up losing the one you love. IzRael touches many bases on this album, Love, Sex, Drugs, Dance, you can't help but think what is going on his life? When asked, why the title of "X-RATED", he responded. "I know my life isn't PG-RATED, what I express deals with what we all go through and would rather go on with life with no one knowing these things..., but I speak for myself and other like me. In the end I'm proud that I'm not apart of the norm, I hold nothing back". On “Purple Haze” IzRael proves just that. In his voice, the way he speaks on how this feeling mixed with sex go together, its so enticing, your gonna wish you were on that kind of drug. IzRael is like a toxic drug that you can’t resist. “Call Me Papa” is a classic “ladies love IzRael” song. "I wrote this song before this album got started actually. I was drinking Bacardi Gold on the rocks watching Tila Tequila on her web cam, and we chatted over the celly that night. So it just came to me, I want you to call me, I want you to need me! So I just let the pen do the writing and now everyone loves this track! Thanks to my homegurl Tila" ;P
With all these themes, it’s easy to see how IzRael Salinas came up with the title X-RATED. "No one is alone in this album, we all go through events, situations we all keep to ourselfs and hid away from the world. Now I'm telling my stories, my secrets, naughty or nice, the good times, the bad times, through my words and voice.” |
