Started to play percussion at 10, in a 10 to 15 members Steelband. With 16, he went to Trinidad (The Island of the Pan "Steeldrum"), with the Swiss Pan Man, Felix Rohrer. After the one month experience with 80 to 100 members Steelband "Casablanca" from Port of Spain, back in Switzerland, he transformed this exerience in a band called "Uprisers" with some friends.
Some members from "Uprisers" and the Band "Jamaika Springs" with Armando made a Fusion which gave the "Moonraisers".
Jaba performed also as Drummer, Percussionist, Keyboarder, Arranger, Producer and Webmaster for diffrent bands and projects: N'Bolo, Nierika, Music-Circle, Shanti Studio, Damp, Jah Man Gang, ORS Massive, Megabass, Winchester, Junior Marvin (Bob Marley Guitarist), Abbloyd Abashi, Ras Cloud, Yakasi...
