Having been a professional musician for twenty years I've now retired from the road (apart from a short reunion tour in summer 2010) and taken up position as a desk-jockey - sending out other individuals, duos and bands to do my dirty work, i.e. play at festivals, events and venues all over the UK.
As an agent I'm not interested in a gig at any price. I consider that it's my job to bring together the right artist and the right venue at the right price. It's a win-win situation... er actually it's a win-win-win situation. :-)
I specialise in bringing Australian, American and Canadian performers into the UK - great names like The Mighty Zulu Natuion, Tanglefoot (sadly now retiring), James Keelaghan, Cloudstreet, Mad Agnes and fantastic shows like 'Appalachian Roots' with Ira Bernstein and Riley Baugus. I also have a few fantastic UK performers on my list including up-and-coming Isambarde and the wonderful Peggy and PJ - that's Dave Pegg from Fairport and PJ Wright from Little Johnny England.
