An accomplished international singer/songwriter from Australia with an impressive debut on the Billboard Dance Club Charts in the United States, Jacinta is quickly becoming one of the music industrys most versatile and sought after talents.
Proud to be a true and committed artist in the music world, Jacinta is a gifted musician, writer, vocalist, producer, and performer. Her music embodies dynamic beats, hypnotic vocals, and an overall infectious nature that captivates her audience.
With her first single released in the United States, SUNSHINE, Jacinta has taken the music world by storm. In fact, SUNSHINE was able to hit the top twenty on Billboard Magazines Hot Dance Club Play Chart in early 2006.
The second single DESTINATION was released in June 2006 and definitely continues Jacinta's entrancing style, inspiring lyrics and infectious dance beats. DESTINATION was written by Jacinta and Anton Bass with vocals by Jacinta. Remixing on this single were done by some of the leading mixers in todays industry including Anton Bass, Digital Dog, Aurora, and Rod Carrillo, and also a special Tribal "Club Cutz" release featuring Peter Presta, Friscia&Lamboy, Pleasure Center, and Jac&Barnes.
Jacinta has quite a story to tell. She began her career performing with electronic and rock bands, as well as with a number of international artists. It wasnt until 1997 that Jacinta decided to pursue a solo career, in conjunction with the establishment of her own record label Chunky Music. Proving to be a success, Jacintas solo career has given her the opportunity to work with internationally respected musicians including Tony Bennett, Cake, Leo Sayer, David Gates of Bread, and Take That.
In 2003, Jacinta had the chance to work as a musical consultant on Cirque Du Soleils Alegria in Austin, Texas, while at the same time completing a solo tour in the United States and Canada.
More recently, in 2006 and 2007, Jacinta has performed in clubs across the United States. She has compiled an outstanding collection of original songs that continue to allure audiences with her intoxicating style.
Jacinta’s 2007 release “Can’t Keep it a Secret” has been an instant hit. It debuted as the 1 Breakout Song on the Billboard Dance Chart and peaked at 7 on the 07/07/07 chart. Already in heavy rotation on radio, and a Number1 Chart Hit on Sirius OutQ, Super91.7 DE, HOT96 OR, Energy93, Beograd 202 in Serbia and ZFM Digital in Australia, “Secret” was co written by Jacinta, Tony Moran and Warren Rigg. DJ Ron of DanceMusic.About.com predicted that this uplifting song would be the Pride anthem of the summer, and peaking at 2 FMBQ and 2 on DJ Times is testament to this. Keyboard Magazine declares “all dance diva’s are not created equal…”
Jacinta is following up the success of SECRET with the new single ELECTRIC UNIVERSE and two new collaborations - I SEE FIRE with Cybersutra and DAY IN TIME with Wild Jaam. All three songs are currently charting with radio airplay and clubplay across the USA. A new album will be released later this year. Collaborators on this album project include Ray Roc, David Anthony, Tony Moran, Warren Rigg, Mike Rizzo, and Mike G.
