Jack Alberson (1975-current) spent five years in the Conway, Arkansas music scene as a founder of Lash 41 (which later evolved into Bleakhouse), Ailment and Heterodyne (which included Clouded Son's Robert Jones as well as future Noise Choir axeman Patrick Glass).
A move to Memphis, Tennessee in 1999 ultimately led to his leaving Heterodyne, a temporary stint in local band Johnny Romania, and a series of four-track recordings under the name The Jeta Grove.
In 2004, after a shaky attempt to put a Jeta Grove band together, Shortwave Dahlia was born and has since evolved into a quartet who have enjoyed moderate success in the Memphis music scene. They are currently preparing a second full-length album.
Now, some fifteen years after his adventures in music began humbly with a home keyboard and a boombox, Jack has embarked on a solo project--the first to be billed under his own name.
