Heroes
All the genetic codes that funneled themselves into me. They survived all the environments of the past. They survived the wars, the famines, the diseases, the storms. They are my heroes.
About me: About me; I am a retired art instructor. Divorced five or so years ago. I have two children (son and daughter). I always looked at life as an adventure. I would find goals and pursue them. I have been a newspaper reporter, professional soldier, factory worker, free lance magazine writer, published poet, professional artist to name a few. Life is the journey. My current calling (if we can call it that) is publishing web sites that counter the conventional manners of our culture. I think our culture sucks. It is so stagnant and generally serves the purpose of enslaving the poor for the benefit of the rich. I have about 125 web sites (non commercial) (just new knowledge) that challenge the conventions of culture and civilization. I would like to communicate with people that have a TRUE open mind and are interested in exploring the possibilities beyond our culture and even beyond civilization itself.
Who I'd like to meet:
THE FOLLOWING VIDEO IS A DOCUMENT OF THE PERFORMANCE ART PIECE "ALICE AND THE RED QUEEN IN THE GARDEN OF RANDOM DELIGHTS"
There were 14 people involved. Therefore only a few ended up in the video. To understand the performance read the stage performance script at http://www.randomdelights.com/stageperformance.htm
jackeroooo i'm moving into my apartment this weekend and those pictures you gave me are going to be displayed on my vaaaaast wall space thanks again for them
When I first saw Metropolis, I saw the version that had an 80's soundtrack to it. I think the band was Yes that did it. I remember telling myself that most good artists think alike when I was watching it. They sorta have the same dreams and goals I thought.
I also did some photography of the Merc center. Come take a look if you wish, and feel free to critique. The new photos are located in my photo section here on MYSpace.
Coming Saturday May 17 6pm-1am at the MERC, 607 E. 3rd St Sideshow 2008 34 Visual Artists and 26 Musical and Performance Artists FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
I was in a talking mood today and was going to call you and see whats going on with the preformance and what i need to do, but then i lost the mood. but, i'm going to come up with some kind of costume. and just let me know when we have to meet and whatever else.
Concerning flockofseagulls video link on previous comment; "The U.S. Army killing the puppy? I had previously watched it several times and noticed that it never moved but the movement of the mass of its back half when it was thrown indicates that it was not a toy dog. Maybe already dead? I can't tell for sure. "
wellkome, Jack, today i found your name in some paper from 2000 year, maybe you remember i wrote you then asking for a work about performance ...many time have passed your work helped me 8 years ago how are you ?
Pretty soon I am going to go out in the Dayton area to take photos of "Women in cute shoes." My photo book is getting bigger if you haven't noticed. The good thing about this project is I am making people participate by getting their permission or taking the photos myself.
