About me:
Hi! Thanks for checking out my myspace page.
I'm an author and journalist. who used to be a banker, but decided writing
was more creative and could make more of a difference.
My upcoming book is: It Takes a Pillage: Behind the Bailouts, Bonuses and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street. It will be out this Fall, 2009, but is available for pre-order on Amazon now. In the book, I take a look at all the shady tricks and relationships that led to the financial crisis that began in 2008. I also examine what happened to our bailout money, who the big bankster winners will be after the dust clears - and what we can do to bring about a fairer economy for all.
My first book came out in the fall of 2004: Other People's Money: The Corporate Mugging of America.
My next book, published in 2006, was called Jacked: How "Conservatives" are Picking your Pocket (whether you voted for them or not) (out September 2006.)
To write Jacked, I spent 4 months traveling the country, speaking to people about
their lives and wallets; from New Orleans to Biloxi, Mississippi, Port Townsend,
Washington to Santa Anna, California, from Detroit to Tampa, Texas to Oklahoma
to Pennsylvania, etc. I met single Mom's, activist students, auto workers, jazz
musicians, actors, seniors citizens, producers, tourguides, teachers. We talked about what's going on and what the government
is doing / not doing about it:
