Jacket Weather formed in around 1999 (under the name "The Standstill") by four friends doing what they love. They've played many shows in the Provo/Salt Lake area, and eventually released a long-awaited demo ep before going on a 3 year hiatus.
Now they've rejoined and revived, playing old songs and writing new songs, all under the influence of the mid-late 90s midwest type indie/post hardcore sound. Robbie Taylor recently stopped playing guitar for the band for interest reasons, and was replaced by Davey Danielson of local Blackbeard and Browning fame.
You guys sound bad! I can't believe i haven't heard you before! anyone who credits Mineral as an influence is hip in my book. We aught to play together, eh?

With all these false start springs and reoccurring winter, I can't help but think it's JACKET WEATHA!!!! BOO YA!!! betcha didn't see that one coming! Wanna play logan in june? Maybe we'll see if us two and shark speed wanna have a show!
