All I have to say is that you don't know how much of an influence you were back in the days. You were the one who introduced me to what I am now known for HOUSE MUSIC.
Thank you so much.

Little did he know that soon he would be spinning at the largest clubs in the area and working for the number 1 radio station. DJ Pat D has been committed to the highest quality and professionalism in the dj entertainment field. Pat's approach is simple: make a difference! Back in 85 he put demo tapes together in order to land a job. His humble beginnings were back in Peoria, IL spinning at Tut's Tomb, Sully's, Mr. Bill's and The Hilton Hotel. Pat landed his first Southern California gig at the After 8 dance club in Norco, California. When the doors closed on that club, Pat made his way to Riverside and spun at such clubs as Club Metro, Harry C's, Infinitis, Monopoly's Black Angus and Kokomo's to name a few. Pat has opened up and emceed with Lighter Shade of Brown, Tone Loc, Cathy Dennis, Timmy T, L' Trimm, Cathy Dennis, Mellow Man Ace, Stacy Q, Bobby Ross Avila, Jermaine Stewart, Cyre', Jellybean, Dynamic Twins, and a host of others. His love for music prompted him to open up a music store, Basement Records. Shortly thereafter his break came when he became the Mixmaster for 99.1 KGGI FM. His turntable wizardry was heard Mon-Fri @ 5 PM when he produced the "Traffic Jam". Also those evenings you could hear the 30 minute "Hott Mixx". The crème de la crème was the Friday and Saturday Night Hott Mixx which also was broadcast live from Club Metro. Some club owners thought Pat's mix was too progressive before house music became a household word. In fact one club owner was adamantly against DJ Pat D's style of house music that he said you won't play that in my club. Working at 99.1 opened doors for Pat to dj at schools and other community events. He formed a mobile dj company and even formed a ground breaking dance team called "The Jack Factory Dancers". His ensemble performed at over 200 school and community events. Pat also got his free record pool dues covered when he worked at American Music pool. He had the opportunity to work with 2 dj's who soon gained notoriety in the LA Club and radio scene - DJ Jimmy Kim (formerly of 102.7 KIIS FM) and DJ Enrie (Power 106 FM). After seeing a rise in drug and gang activity, Pat opened up a Teen Club during the summer's of 1990, 1991, and 1993. Crowds of over 500 persons jammed his club and became a cool hang out for teens. In 1992, Pat D hooked up with Scott Blackwell and had the opportunity to guest dj on his syndicated show "The Club House". Pat started touring Inland Empire schools with a program called Music with a Message. Pat employed the efforts of rap groups Dynamic Twins and D-Dash. Pat even got the attention of local press and LA TV KTLA Channel 5. Summer 1993 Pat got the Inland Empire grooving to an eclectic mix of music at "Tune Town". This non-alcohol teen club outgrew its capacity of 350 and soon was moved to an outdoor area where up to 600 teens packed the city of Colton to get a serious dance groove on. As time passed and the internet started heating up Pat began networking with people from other countries. Pat's mixes were being played in South Africa, Netherlands, England, and even airplay in Russia! In 1998 Pat contacted a local radio station about purchasing airtime for a mix show. In October of 1998, "The Jack Factory" debuted on 100.9 Spirit FM. This 2 hour mix show featured Pat D in the mix as well as dj's from around the U.S. This 2 year stint opened doors for Pat to play at local raves and events. As word got out that there was a dj who pumped up the volume with sanctified dance music, Pat was invited to many events. Pat has been a guest dj on the JC-TV network. Pat had the idea of forming a monthly dj fellowship called the Southern California DJ and Groovemaker's Fellowship (soon to be renamed Groove Fellowship). In 2003 the fellowship did an outreach on Labor Day at a local park. Pat took his love for music to the lab and started creating tracks. His track, "Creator" has been downloaded over 500 times and was recently featured in a tsunami relief album as well as being available for download on Beatport.com. Pat has other tracks available. The music still keeps pumping as Pat has several mixes on-line, tracks, djing events and even can be found mixing it up with guest spots on internet radio shows throughout the world.
