Jack Higg (Higginbotham) music intertwines Texas Country with a combination of Texas Swing and traditional country music. Jack was raised in a small town southeast of San Antonio in La Vernia, Texas; His debut album "Hangin' On", is available on iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, and Amazon (hard copy available on Amazon). Musical influences include Garth Brooks, Cory Morrow, George Strait, Neal McCoy, Doug Stone, Rhett Akins, Kevin Sharp, Buck Owens, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and many more. Jacks passion for music grows more and more every time he can make someone smile, let go, and get lost in the art of song. He has learned a significant amount of knowledge for music from his mentor Glenn Shankle. Glenn, former steel guitar/lead guitar player of the Cory Morrow Band and Neal McCoy Band produced Jacks debut album "Hangin' On". Glenn is also a co-writer of a few of the songs on the album. The Jack Higginbotham Band finds its audience through songs that people can relate to in their everyday life, especially the way of life and culture in Texas. Songs that speak to the heart and run down clear into the soul; soul and most of all, songs that everyone can enjoy and dance to!
