“Jackie Beat is the greatest drag queen on earth!” - Roseanne Barr
“A true triple threat...Talent, Beauty and the Beat. Jackie has it all! A great talent, pure genius!” - RuPaul
"Beat is a trained theater actress, but no amount of training could make a person this talented, this witty, or this scathing. The show should just be called ’Jackie Beat is a Fucking Genius.’" - The Village Voice
“Menacing, sad and hysterically funny... and then there’s the voice. Jackie’s voice has the power and range of a Broadway star and an old-school Black Diva.” - Provincetown Magazine

Books
Just finished "Dark at the Roots" by Sarah Thyre. LOVED IT! Right now I am tearing through Rue McClanahan's saucy autobiography, "My First Five Husbands." In case you've been living under a rock for the past 25 years, you just awoke from a coma, you're stupid and/or straight or you are a mere child who idolizes Jeffree Star -- Rue played Blanche Deveraux on The Golden Girls. Turns out she was quite the slut in real life, too! A MUST READ! Update: Just finished Rue's book (GENIUS!) and then I read "Starstruck" by Michael Joseph Gross. SO GOOD! Fame is so fucked. Just finished CULT OF THE AMATEUR by Andrew Keen -- highly recommended! Okay, an update: Finished "When You Are Engulfed In Flames" by David Sedaris (loved it!) and "Life With My Sister Madonna" by Christopher Ciccone (no Pulitzer Prize here, but fun!) and now I am reading "Right Is Wrong" by Arianna Huffington. Had to put Ariana's book down for awhile and read "Hollywood Gays" -- sent to me for my birthday from Senor Amor & Miss Jonona. Thanks! It was a great read! Then my pal Daniel loaned me Chelsea Handler's book "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea" and it was a fluffy good time. I love how when someone kisses her without permission she calls it "Face Rape". Anyhoo, back to Ariana...
