I'm me. book worm (when I have the time) sushi loving, scarf wearing, snowboarding (not very good at it though) goofy, never too serious, out going, sometimes shy, love to make people laugh, kinda weird, diggin anything purple, chick who writes about having a broken, happy, lost, pissed off, ecstatic heart... i've always had ideas for songs and melodies running through my head but i never had the talent to put them down and make them tangible until i picked up a guitar. Now I have music to put my ramblings to. i create music because it's my passion .. i know that's totally cliche' and lame but it's true! i'm more at peace when i'm sitting with my guitar than anywhere else. so if you like what you hear then i'm happy, if not then i'm still happy cause music makes me happy and that's that!
Jackie's Bio:
Jackie is a fresh face on the local acoustic music scene in Salt Lake but she's willing to play anywhere if she has the means to get herself and her guitar there. In her own words Jackie has always had melodies and lyrics running through her head but it wasn't until she picked up a guitar 4 years ago that she had the chance to put the two together. From the strum of her first chord she was hooked. If she's not playing her guitar she's thinking about playing it or she has some random song running through her head.
Jackie's music is a little bit of everything all rolled into one, anywhere from Blues to Surf Pop to Country to Heavy Rock riffs but if you ask Jackie to describe her "sound" she'll just get tongue tied and tell you to go listen and decide for yourself.
