About me:
AUGUST 30, 2009: To those of you who have asked about the complaint that Joan Jett, Kenny Laguna and Blackheart Records have filed against me in a New York court, I will just say thank you for your support and concern. I'm not going to comment on pending litigation -- just know that the complaint ALLEGES certain things. It doesn't mean that they are true. Also, apparently there is someone posting on other sites under my name. It isn't me. There is a lot of erroneous information floating around out there and unfortunately is is upsetting to Runaways fans. If I have anything to say about the Runaways, I will say it here.
On a more general note, while I try to respond to everyone who emails me at least once, as I've previously noted here, I have fibromyalgia and typing is painful -- please forgive me if I don't respond or if I keep my responses terse.
Thank you again to everyone who has written to me over the years. I've read all your emails and they are very much appreciated.
For those who don't know me, I was the bass player in the "famous five" version of the Runaways. I'm currently an entertainment attorney, but I've created this space to post stories about my time in the band and the seventies rock scene in general while I still remember it.
