Jack Jones is a high energy rock quartet with music and lyrics born from lifes hard earned lessons. Jack Jones combines the best of comtemporary rock with an old-school gritty flair.
Jack Jones was formed in Salt Lake City early in 2005 when a group of good friends and seasoned musicians decided to create an original rock band for the masses. Dustan Neil, Paul Ostler, Rob Kent and Josh Haynes built the human base for the awesome sound that is called Jack Jones.
In the beginning of 2006, the bands music was noticed by Jimmy Newquist, the front man for Carolines Spine and gold record music producer. Jimmy and his company, 7th kid production, helped Jack Jones journey to Tulsa, Oklahoma to record their first full-length album at Yellow Dog studios with Jimmy Newquist and David Percefull (one of the industries hottest engineer/producers – who also produced 3 Days Grace, Seether, Bowling for Soup, Michael Martin Murphy, etc. - the list goes on, check out Dave’s creds at yellowdogstudios.net!!) as executive engineers and producers for Jack Jones’s debut album!!! The resulting self- titled album was released in October of 2006 with great success. The band toured in support of the first album for over a year before deciding to return to the studio.
Jack Jones second album, "Love & Hate", was released in December 2008 and delivers a powerful new sound that crosses genres. Featuring the driving, high intensity single "Whipping Boy" this new album explores the bands ever evolving take on alternative rock.
Jack Jones has shared the stage with powerhouse bands like Caroline's Spine, Royal Bliss, SuperSoFar, Downright Blue, Drop Dead Julio and many others. COMING SOON TO A CITY NEAR YOU!!!
