Pon di mic since 1996, JACK KULCHA is a french raggamuffin dee jay inspired by the Paris sound systems vibrations and the french hip hop movement in the early 90’s, the digital time. In this period, the movement is still fresh and positive. This energy will stay his direction in his own songs. From the sound system culture, Jack Kulcha puts his voice on the version from the rub a dub to the actual dancehall. He’s still a toaster but sometime can sing. His style is positive, with entertainment and conscious lyrics, everytime in evolution, opened and ready to a lot of energies and creative directions in the reggae music and the reggae hip hop.

The dee jay has given his participation in various projects like his own radio broadcast “Mitigana Sound Vibes” between 1998 and 2003 which will fundate the Mightygana Sound System in Burgundy, a collaboration with Jah Love Musik with the french veteran MC, singjay, selector Poupa Claudio in the south of France or in the last time with Black Mountain Sound System in Barcelona, Spain. For the last project and during two years with the spanish selector Innahill, the sound was too his own promotor in the alternative dance hall of Can Cadena, with an audience between 400 and 600 persons. During two years, he has shared the stage with a lot of Barcelona reggae protagonists : Prince Osito, Hermano L, Dr Guanche, Massive Sound, Warrior Vibes, Dance Crasher, Black Up and many more…

On stage, we can note a lot of underground concerts and some more official like the first part of the french rock-reggae group Sinsemilia (Festival en Othe, Burgundy-Champagne, France, 2000) with an audience of 1.500 persons or 2007 summer on the Cerkal Festival, catalan alternative music and scenic arts meeting.
