Born in the bowls of hell, Jackleg first became friends with the Devil. Later they wound up in Philipsburg, Montana. It was written, they would rock. ...and rock they did. ..so far did they travel on the wings of strings that they flew to heaven. Currently they own a piece of heaven and gather there often to create vortexes when they're not touring sporadically. Jackleg vortexes are like no other. Come. See.

Okay, but seriously ... so Jackleg may sound more like a rock band that jams, than a jam band that rocks. We are two brothers, their cousin, and their dirty bastard friends who started playing together in the mid 90's. What began as family recreation, has grown into the crosshairs of fate.
We have taken various forms over the years, but the core is a 5-man lineup that includes dueling guitars ... with an occasional sax sit-in courtesy of our good friend Pete. We read the vibe that emanates from the floor each night and can flow from throwing down straight up rock, splattered with blues ... to funky grooves with a scent of jazz. All of this is of course done with the infinite desire to reveal cracks in the universe which may open at any point and spill a tasty vortex, engulfing all in attendance.
Sometimes we meet at the home ranch in Montana as a home base for various physical and mental recreation tangents.
