Hello my name is Jack maher , ive been playing guitar since the age of eleven , i work as a session musician for many people like declan o rourke, sharon shannan, roesy, shay cotter, glen baker, alice jago and more . I play acoustic, electric, lead and rythm guitar, i also play mandolin and five string banjo . I also write songs and by coincidence sing them as well . I love studio work , live work and production , i play many styles of music but particularly love rythm and blues (not to be confused with r & b in its current state ) soul, country , rock , pop , jazz (if it doesnt get too far up its own ass ) tradional irish , folk , and many more styles , im also available for chidrens parties and barmitsvas . I have recently finnished work with declan o rourke on his long awaited second album , mostly recorded in grouse lodge ( temporary home of mick jackson ) and the first single of which should be out sometime in july.
last year i recorded a live DVD with sharon shannan and the big band live at dolans wharehouse with guests including mundy, roesy, damien dempsey, john kenny, the brennan sisters and dessie o halloran and i also performed a song on that called dont give up on me by the amazing solomon burke ( check him out ) .

hey u! how ya been? hope things are going good. I havent been able to make it over to the hotel to stop in for a minute... clints been working in town again so im back on dinner duty. lol we are trying to get a mailing list made for my mom to send the invitations out so that's yay. its going to be june 6th at 11a we're going to have some food a bit before. kind of a celebration thang, ya know? quitting mah job with that lameass of a boss jaime. gah, i aint gonna miss her at all! i still cant believe that that survey thing that britt showed me is actually working - n dat we're gettin paid; im so luvin it too. givin mah opinion on stuff i do - pshhh ... so easy. i wonder if we'll ever hit da cash that that website said we would. i dunno, but with my last check being $126, i dont even care. i only pulled in like 200 a week and my crapass job anyway, so this is perfect. you should do it, i'm tellin yah. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
