  • Bio

....From Ballads and Blues to Dance music and Outlaw songs, the Jack Pine Holdouts attempt to reflect the music of rural America before the 1940's. Musically, it was a period when no one style dominated and sounds were created through individual experimentatiion. It is through their own experimentation The Jack Pine Holdouts have created their own sound while still maintaining the diverse styles of traditional American folk musicians. Resurrecting songs from traditional musicians, old 78rpm discs, and The Library of Congress collections, The Jack Pine Holdouts help bring old-time music to wider audiences through their performances. Listeners who value spirit over polish will find many of their songs to be as exciting and powerful today as they were over 70 years ago. .. ......I use the ..layout generator.. at UltimateMySpace.com. .. ......I use the ..layout generator.. at UltimateMySpace.com.
