Jack Presto is a ‘Gonzo’ hip-hop artist, with his long time partner in crime DJ Anode, they have eschewed the clichés of the genre to forge there own authentic style. His lyrics are committed and non-conformist, spreading social awareness and confronting the world in which he lives.
When playing live, you will usually see him backed by a band whose members are artists in their own right, contributing individually to the bombastic yet nuanced sound. Live there is a stripped-down DIY feel to the music which also bridges many forms: ska, blues, funk, punk and the
avant-garde.
